After the Pokémon Day Presents livestream celebrating the franchise’s 30th anniversary, players have been able to claim several special bonuses, including a set of three starter Pokémon through Pokémon Home.
It has now been confirmed that full compatibility between Pokémon Home and Pokémon Legends: Z-A will launch in spring 2026. While an exact release date has not yet been announced, early rewards have already been revealed for trainers who plan to move their Pokémon between games.
Players should be aware that once Pokémon are transferred into Pokémon Legends: Z-A, they cannot be sent back to earlier titles. However, they will remain compatible with Pokémon Champions, which is scheduled to release in April 2026.
Pokémon Fans Can Get Three Starter Alphas For Free Via Home
In a post shared by the official Pokémon Home social media account, it was announced that players can receive a valuable free reward by depositing Pokémon captured in Legends: Z-A into Home.
By completing a transfer, players can unlock three Alpha starters: Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile. These Pokémon cannot be Shiny and do not have a chance to become Shiny, but their Alpha status provides boosted stats that make them especially useful in battle.
The starter trio from Legends: Z-A is not easy to farm through normal gameplay, making this reward an excellent opportunity for players who want to strengthen their team while still progressing through the main story.
Each of these Alpha Pokémon can Mega Evolve within Legends: Z-A, and they are also expected to work with Pokémon Champions once it launches in April. This is great news for trainers hoping to assemble a powerful roster for global battles against other players.
It should be noted that these Alpha Pokémon will be delivered as Mystery Gifts through the mobile version of Pokémon Home. Once claimed, however, they are permanently yours to train and evolve into formidable Mega-powered partners.
