New information about Grand Theft Auto VI could be arriving soon, including details on a possible third trailer and preorder availability.
GTA VI has become one of the most anticipated video games ever, which is impressive considering that only two trailers and a limited number of screenshots have been released over the last three years.
Rockstar Games is currently targeting a November launch this year, suggesting that additional announcements and another trailer should be coming in the near future.
Because the studio is famously secretive about its marketing schedule, there has been widespread speculation about when the next trailer might appear.
Still, a possible leak connected to the PlayStation Store indicates that GTA VI could soon receive a major storefront update, potentially including the opening of preorders.
Could Grand Theft Auto VI Be About To Open Preorders?
According to PlayStation Game Size on X (formerly Twitter), a well-known source for tracking backend updates on the PlayStation Store, “Grand Theft Auto VI title IDs have been added to the PlayStation database.”
This could signal upcoming changes for GTA VI’s store page, such as the announcement of pricing and different editions. If pricing details appear, it would strongly suggest that preorder options may launch at the same time.

However, the account also made it clear that the exact timing is unknown, stating: “It completely depends on the publisher, and I can’t say for certain when it will happen. But I don’t expect the wait to be very long.”
For now, this remains speculation and should be treated cautiously.
Rockstar Games currently plans to release GTA VI on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 19 November, 2026, assuming there are no further delays. If that schedule holds, more official news should arrive by summer at the latest.
There is also the possibility that preorders could open later than expected, but there is no clear way to confirm this yet.
Looking at previous releases, Red Dead Redemption 2 opened preorders in June 2018, with the full launch following in October.
Meanwhile, GTA V began taking preorders in November 2012, nearly a year before its release. This shows there is no consistent pattern to predict exactly when GTA VI preorders will go live.
